01
The main difference between universal color masterbatches and specialized color masterbatches:
The carrier of the universal color master batch can be used for coloring various resins, and its carrier can use low molecular weight polyethylene wax, EVA, K resin, metal soap, or can be composed of two or three types of carriers. It is required to increase the content of pigments as much as possible (even up to 60% -70%, with specialized color masterbatches ranging from 20% -30%), so the amount of color masterbatches should be kept as small as possible to avoid incompatibility with coloring resins.
The general use of color masterbatches in injection molded products is only 1%. Due to its low usage, the injection molded product contains fewer different resin contents, and of course, its impact on plastic products can be ignored.
The specific production process is briefly described as follows: In order to better apply polar and non-polar resins, a small amount of EVA is usually added.

Black and white masterbatch formula
A. Choose four formulas for TiO2
Formula 1
TiO 2 BA01-01 400G(40%)
Lithopone B302 300G (30%)
Whitening agent KSN 0.2G (0.02%)
Stearic acid YA – Ⅱ -200 type 30G (3%)
Calcium stearate 9.8G (0.98%)
LLDPE2433 Tianjin MI=33 100G (10%)
LDPEQ400(2F4B MI=4) 160G(16%)
*Mix ratio 3%
Formula 2
(1) Titanium dioxide BA01 - 01 690G 69%
(2) Phthalocyanine Blue ICI. Ultranovawine N.P.B Blue RS-6 0.6G 0.06%
(3) Fluorescent whitening agent KSN 0.6G 0.06%
(4) Calcium stearate 10G 1%
(5) Stearic acid YA-II-200 type 30G 3%
(6) 20PE Q400 268.8G/1000G 26.88%
*4% for film blowing
Formula 3
(1) Titanium dioxide 200G 70%
(2) Fluorescent whitening agent KSN 0.2G 0.02%
(3) Brightener EBS~oleamide TAS-2A 25G 2.5%
(4) LLDPE 2433 150G 15%
(5) LDPE Q400 124.8G/1Kg 12.48%
*4% blow film
Formula 4
TiO2 62.7%
LDPE(1F7B) 18.4%
LLDPE (7042) 4.6%
PE wax 12%
Oleic acid amide 2.3%
B. Universal white female
PE wax 22%
TiO2 2 64% (Pangang 101)
Zinc stearate 10%
C. B. Cadmium red and other 2%
A small amount of white oil is stirred high before entering a three roll single screw
Ratio 1:100
ABS free PP laundry bucket (MI=35) with stripes (white)
Reason: There are too many PE waxes, which often cause them to melt first and produce stripes; After modification: PEwax has been reduced to 15%, and there are no issues with PP printing. Choosing LLDPE is better, with high shear force and easy dispersion.
C. Black masterbatch formula
1)C.B. Cabot N234 45%
2)PE wax 12%
3)LLDPE MI=20 43%

White coating film masterbatch
The white coating film master batch is mainly used for the coating of composite films such as instant noodles, and its main reference composition is:
Titanium dioxide (mainly R-type) D50% -70%;
Low molecular weight polyethylene wax 2% -5%;
Polyethylene (1C7A) 20% -30%;
An appropriate amount of coupling agent;
CaCO3 5%;
Other moderate amounts.
04
Filling masterbatch
The reference formula for commonly used polyethylene product filling masterbatch is as follows:
LDPE 10 Titanate Coupling Agent TTS 1
LLDPE 10 Low molecular weight polyethylene wax 4
HDPE 5 stearic acid 2
CaCO3 75
According to user requirements, the amount of masterbatch added is 2-30 portions
