Plastic Black Masterbatch
Black masterbatch is a plastic colorant formed by a high proportion of pigment or additive and thermoplastic resin, which is well dispersed and mixed. The selected resin has a good wetting and dispersing effect on the colorant, and has a good compatibility with the coloring material, that is: pigment + carrier +additive=color masterbatch.

Introduction
Black color masterbatch is a type of masterbatch, which is a concentrated mixture of pigments and additives dispersed in a carrier resin. Black masterbatch is specifically designed to provide a deep black color to plastics products by adding it during the black masterbatch manufacturers process. It is widely used in the plastics industry for coloring a wide range of thermoplastics, including polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, and ABS, that is why black masterbatch price will be different cause the different plastic carriers.
Black color masterbatch typically contains a high concentration of carbon black pigment, which provides its characteristic black color. The carrier resin in the masterbatch acts as a binder to keep the pigment particles dispersed evenly throughout the final plastic product. In addition to its coloring properties, black masterbatch may also contain additives to improve the processing properties or to provide functional benefits, such as UV stability, flame retardancy, or antistatic properties, thus black masterbatch price can be different as the different functional benefits.
Plastic Black Masterbatch is used in a wide range of applications, including in the production of automotive parts, electrical and electronic components, consumer goods, and packaging. Its use is preferred over other methods of coloring plastic products, such as the use of pre-colored resins or pigments, because it allows for greater flexibility and control over the final product’s color, performance, and cost.
